Jackie Harris-Harrell Promoted to Vice President, Diversity Inclusion
Ms. Harris-Harrell Brings Unparalleled Passion and Knowledge to Newly Created Role
Jackie Harris-Harrell, an 11-year Towne Park veteran, was recently promoted to a newly created position of Vice President, Diversity Inclusion. In this new role, Ms. Harris-Harrell will be responsible for leading, advancing, developing and implementing diversity and inclusion strategies, including assessing organizational needs and identifying solutions that will contribute to a sustainable high-performance culture. In addition, she is responsible for developing a diversity recruiting strategy to attract, retain and develop the best talent to execute Towne Park’s business goals.
Ms. Harris-Harrell joined Towne Park in 2000 as vice president of human resources. During her tenure, Ms. Harris-Harrell has been instrumental in the formation of Towne Park’s human resources policies, programs and training initiatives. Among her most significant contributions was the development and deployment of recruitment, hiring and onboarding programs to find, retain and provide growth opportunities for The Very Best People.
Ms. Harris-Harrell holds a B.A. in English from Spelman College and has numerous certifications in the human resources field. After college, she lived in Italy for eight years working for Boston University’s Graduate School. Prior to joining Towne Park, she was the human resources director for Ginger Cove, a premier continuing care retirement community in Annapolis.
