Jeans for Charity Fridays

Towne Park Home Office Associates Are Driven to Serve

Towne Park's Home Office (headquartered in Annapolis, MD) staff launched a new community outreach program this fall, Jeans for Charity Fridays.  Associates can wear jeans on Fridays if they make a $5.00 donation to the monthly charity of choice.  October's charity was the Breast Cancer Coalition and in November, proceeds went to the Make A Wish Foundation.  They raised $905 for the Breast Cancer Coalition and $1,100 for the Make A Wish Foundation.  In November, Towne Park CEO Jerry South matched the monies raised so $2,200 was donated to the Make A Wish Foundation in all.

December's charity will be the Maryland Food Bank.  In addition to raising cash to donate for the charity, the Home Office will also be collecting non-perishable food and other items to donate.  We hope to continue with the $1,000+ trend plus goods for the food bank especially since it is the holiday season.
