Minneapolis Grabs Upper Mid-West Regional Valet Olympic Title
In a .2 second touch, Minneapolis grabs title from Omaha to win Towne Park's Upper Mid-West Regional Valet Olympics
On Saturday, October 23rd teams from Kansas, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Nebraska competed in Towne Park's Upper Mid-West Regional Valet Olympics in Des Moines, Iowa. In an explosion of rivalry and talent, the head-to-head competition did not disappoint spectators, teams or fans. Teams competed in a valet relay, key jumble, luggage load and car slalom events. The competition came down to a hand-to-hand battle between Minneapolis and Omaha. Minneapolis came across the finish line .2 seconds ahead of Omaha with a podium touch to grab the coveted title.
Congratulations to Minneapolis for grasping their regional title amongst formdiable competitors. Minneapolis will go on to represent their region at Towne Park's National Valet Olympics in February 2011. Five teams from around the country will compete for the honor to represent Towne Park at the National Valet Parking Assoication's (NVPA) National Valet Olympics in March 2011. The NVPA's National Valet Olympics will be hosted in Fort Lauderdale during their annual convention.
