21 June 2012 Account Manager Greg Gulley Driven To Serve® Youth Athletics
Driven To Serve® is not just Towne Park’s motto when providing services to our hotel, hospital and casino clients around the country. For us, being Driven to Serve® is simply a way of life.
Recently, Anne Arundel Medical Center Account Manager Greg Gulley personified this motto as the newest commissioner of the Pop Warner Football Peninsula Athletic League.
As concussions have become a hot topic for football coaches, players and their parents, Greg is doing his part to ensure children get the exercise and lessons in teamwork that come with youth football, while maintaining their health. Greg was profiled in USA Today last month about how, as the commissioner of the P.A.L., he’ll stress concussion awareness and the fundamentals of the sport to his sons when they step onto the gridiron:
“Tackle with the shoulder pads (not the head) […] and give [opponents] the big bear hug.”
Sounds like sensible advice! We can expect Greg and the Peninsula Athletic League to lead the charge in ensuring the long term safety of our children.
