Baltimore District Adopts Family for the Holidays

In true Towne Park spirit, the Baltimore District contacted the Baltimore County Department of Social Services to inquire about Towne Park “adopting” a family for the Holidays late last year.  We were grateful to be given the opportunity to enrich the holiday for a single mother, Tammy, and her five children.

Within seven days of being presented with our family, the Baltimore team had raised the projected $500 necessary to deliver every single one of the items that comprised the family’s holiday wish list!  In all, we purchased a honey ham, several sides, drinks, desserts, brand new shoes, toothbrushes, jackets, clothes and at least one toy per child.

The look on the faces of each child and their mother was priceless! Tammy and her children were truly appreciative and this is just another example of how Towne Park really does make a difference in our communities!

If you work at Towne Park, you can view a photo of Mario, Tammy and her family in the January issue of Our Towne, Towne Park’s internal communication newsletter.
