17 March 2015 Compton Harris is Reaching Higher
The Guest Service Satisfaction (GSS) Committee, a hotel-run committee intended to monitor GSS survey and social media comments, would like to recognize our very own Compton Harris from the Turnberry Isle Miami for extending exceptional service well beyond the call of duty!
Compton was assisting a guest who was interested in making their way to the Aventura Jewish Center without using a vehicle, since he was observing the Sabbath. As the guest was elderly, Compton was worried about him walking to the Jewish Center alone.
In an act that crystallizes our Driven To Serve® mantra, Compton met the guest at the hotel at 5:00 am on his day off, utilizing the hotel wheelchair to wheel the guest to the Jewish Center so he could attend services. Compton then wheeled the guest back to the hotel after the services. Wow!
