Jeff McDaniel Named Indianapolis Area Manager

Jeff McDaniel

Jeff McDaniel

Five years ago, Jeff McDaniel started with Towne Park as a part-time valet while finishing his Bachelor’s Degree in Sports and Business Administration at Ball State University.  After completing his degree, Jeff had every intention of taking a position at his alma mater.  However, his Account Manager saw great potential in Jeff, and altered his career path.  From those conversations with his Account Manager, Jeff grew to understand and believe in Towne Park’s exponential growth, as well as his own.

His talents were quickly identified when he began at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown as a full time Guest Service Coordinator in 2010.  In five short months, he was promoted to Assistant Account Manager at the Marriott, followed by a stint as AAM at the JW Marriott Indianapolis.

In March of 2013, Jeff was promoted to his first Account Manager position at the JW Marriott and Marriott Place complex, overseeing 125 associates and five salaried managers.  This complex is one of the most challenging projects in our entire portfolio, comprising of four hotels from three separate clients, 1,626 rooms and 900 parking stalls.  Through consistent service delivery and a relentless pursuit of perfection, Jeff and his team succeeded in slaying this beast of a property!

Although his statistics are impressive, Jeff’s largest accomplishment is his ability to develop talent by continuously teaching the fundamentals for success to others.  Under Jeff’s watch, the Complex has promoted five associates to salaried positions.

As evident from his resume, Jeff is the hardest working individual I have had the pleasure to work with.  His passion for his team and their success is second to none. He is an invaluable asset to the Indianapolis District, and we look forward to his future achievements in his new role as the Area Manager for Indianapolis!
