Towne Park’s Ana De La Torre & Chris Bierbaum Named to National Parking Association’s 2022 40 Under 40 Class

PHILADELPHIA, PA, August 2022 – Towne Park, a leading tech enabled hospitality and parking solutions provider, is pleased to announce two of its leaders have been named to the National Parking Association’s 2022 40 Under 40 class. Director of Learning and Development Ana De La Torre and Boston District Manager Chris Bierbaum are being recognized for their commitment to the industry, to growing the next generation of parking leaders, their focus on service excellence and their collaborative leadership styles. The NPA’s 40 Under 40 award annually recognizes industry leaders who are making an impact on their company, while also helping to elevate and transform the parking industry.

De La Torre and Bierbaum join a distinguished list of 30 Towne Park leaders who have received this recognition since 2015.

De La Torre has made it her personal mission to engage, energize and educate generations of parking professionals and future industry leaders. Most recently, as Director of Learning and Development, De La Torre has refined and enhanced the company’s onboarding and service excellence training efforts, championed the transition to a digital training program and launched an inclusive onboarding and training experience.

De La Torre has more than 15 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and started her career at a hotel, where she was a rising star who quickly ascended to the role of Assistant Manager. She joined Towne Park in 2014 as an Associate Manager at the Four Seasons Denver, a luxury property where her holistic hospitality and parking experience ensured the hotel’s premium service expectations were in good hands. Within a year, she was promoted to Account Manager, and in 2017 she was named Area Manager for Denver – a pivotal point in her career where she grew her management portfolio from a single operation to numerous throughout the Denver metro area. In this role, she recognized the critical importance of the associate onboarding and training experience, and how it can impact their success as well as the service delivered to Towne Park’s clients. This led to De La Torre’s transition from operations to the learning and development team in 2018 which has given her the opportunity to positively impact hundreds of associates.

“Ana’s so well-deserving of this recognition. She embodies our values and leads with a passion to serve – a genuine care for people – in all she does,” said Jared Geers, Vice President of Learning and Development. “With her years of industry experience, she provides unparalleled leadership and support to all those she partners with. The impact of her work has reached so many during her tenure, and I look forward to her continued growth and contribution.”

Bierbaum joined Towne Park in 2018 as the District Manager for Boston. Throughout his 15-year career in the transportation and parking industry, he has held several leadership roles including Area Manager and Director of Operations. Bierbaum has developed a strong understanding for the value of creating a welcoming and attentive customer experience. In Towne Park terms, that’s creating smiles with every interaction.

Bierbaum has created trusted partnerships with his clients, mentored and grown the careers of his team members and has deeply focused on the overall customer experience. He has grown his territory significantly, and some of Bierbaum’s accomplishments include managing exceptional client partnerships and growing existing relationships while also launching several new client relationships. He actively leverages Towne Park’s technology innovations to enhance the customer experience and grow new revenue for its clients.

“Chris has been a tremendous contributor to the district and has directly supported and influenced our teams across the region,” said Sam Islas, Senior Vice President for the East. “He stays close to his partners, listens intently to align with priorities, is agile in this ever-changing environment and grows our business. I’m most proud of how he develops leaders, supports his peers and sets best practices that are replicated throughout the region.”

All honorees will receive industry-wide recognition via NPA’s publications as well as the NPA Convention & Expo in Austin, Texas, in September.
