01 Aug Ryan Kushner Takes Honoring Bob Valentine’s Memory to New Heights
What made Bob Valentine so special and vital to the growth of Towne Park was his unwavering encouragement of teammates to pursue their dreams and aspirations. As a direct result of Bob, we became a better company – and even better people.
Even though he is no longer with us in body, Bob continues to inspire Towne Park associates in spirit every day. Ryan Kushner, Account Manager at North Suburban Medical Center, recently honored Bob’s memory by LITERALLY going above and beyond.
Having already climbed the eight peaks above 14,000 feet in Colorado last year, Ryan set out to remember Bob this year by ascending his highest peak yet, the 21,122 ft. summit of Illimani in Bolivia. Ryan sought $2 donations for every thousand feet climbed to be contributed to the Valentine Memorial Scholarship, which awards one student a $10,000 college tuition scholarship distributed in equal installments per college semester. To learn more about the Scholarship and make a donation, please visit The Foundation’s website.
Ryan and his climbing partner made it to the top on July 7, 2012 as you can see in the pictures below. Way to go Ryan!
