Response to the coronavirus pandemic from CEO Andrew Kerin

We are all experiencing the unprecedented challenge our nation and the rest of the world is facing due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

There has been an immediate impact on all of our personal lives, with our families, on our businesses and in our communities.

All of our thoughts go out to those affected by this event and we appreciate the healthcare workers, local community members, and government officials on the front line working to contain the virus and support those in need.

For more than 30 years, Towne Park’s values of putting safety first, caring for others and our deep commitment to service – to our teams, clients, customers and our communities — is core to who we are. These values are what guides us as we navigate through these challenges.

As always, our number one priority is the safety, health and well-being of our teams, clients and the guests, patients and visitors we proudly serve. We are communicating regularly with our teams with the latest information, safety and prevention practices and resources to effectively navigate in this environment. We are also working closely with our clients to support their evolving needs at both our hospitality and healthcare locations while providing our services safely, following all CDC guidelines.

This situation is creating significant personal hardships for many, including our dedicated associates. We are implementing the following initiatives to support our team through this difficult time.

      • If a full-time associate (not eligible for our PTO) is impacted by the virus, required to self-quarantine, take care of a family member under quarantine, or if a school or childcare provider is closed, an Emergency Paid Leave program is now available. We have also lifted the maximum negative balance for those on our PTO plan.

      • Associates can now enroll in DP HealthNow, convenient, affordable 24/7 access to a network of doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals by phone or online.

      • For team members that we had to separate due to lack of available work, we are providing a one-time cash assistance to help them bridge the gap.

    • To continue to aid our current and former employees now and in the months ahead, we expanded the Towne Park Foundation Employee Relief Fund to provide additional assistance.

While our healthcare system is at the core of managing this health crisis, we all feel the responsibility to do our part and play a role in the national response. We are proud to partner and serve alongside leading institutions and help address their rapidly increasing needs safety and effectively. Learn how we’re supporting the healthcare industry here.

We are committed to working collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure their safety while delivering the best service and solutions for our clients and take the necessary actions to protect everyone’s health.

As we have seen in times of challenge, people around the world and in our country rise-up. It is gratifying to see so many people and organizations doing what needs to be done to combat the spread of the Coronavirus. We’re proud of and want to thank our teams for taking care of each other and our clients and customers throughout this challenging situation and every day.

Take care and stay safe.

Andrew Kerin
