Towne Park’s environmental council, Towne Green, kicked off Earth Day weekend with a celebration in the corporate office last Friday!

In honor of the holiday, Towne Park associates were encouraged to wear their green shirts to work while members of the Towne Green Council wore 100% organic shirts of their own, with “Painting the Towne Green” emblazoned across the back to help spread their mission of raising environmental awareness in the community.

As part of the celebration – which included cupcakes from The Main Ingredient, a local environmentally conscious organization that strives to adhere to “greener” standards – Towne Park employees from around the country placed leaves on a “Pledge Tree,” inscribed with their pledge to change a behavior to better live ‘green.’

As the Pledge Tree continues to grow and sprout leaves, Towne Park intends to continue do our part in ensuring that nature continues to grow and flourish just the same.
