Towne Park Has Another Strong Showing At The 2012 Valet Olympics

Head Coach Dashan Sanders with the Towne Park Valet Olympic Team

After several months of practice and preparation, Towne Park’s Valet Olympic Team traveled South to Hollywood, Florida to compete in the 2012 Herb Citrin Valet Olympics – held in conjunction with the National Parking Association 2012 Convention – in hopes of duplicating their triumphant 2011 Valet Olympics performance, in which Towne Park was awarded the Gold Medal in both Valet Team and Individual competition (Edgar Islas, Assistant Account Manager at the Renaissance Montura, was named Best Valet in the United States).

Would 2012 bring a repeat showing?

We performed even better! Towne Park performed better than any other company at the Valet Olympics, as proven by medaling in three different categories.

In the individual competition, Edgar Islas once again earned top honors as America’s Top Valet for the second time in as many years. Towne Park placed Silver in the Team Competition and thanks to the highest appearance and grooming standards in the industry, Towne Park was named Best Dressed Company in the nation.

Edgar Islas accepting his award as the Best Valet in the Nation for the 2nd straight year!

We would be remiss without thanking the South Florida team of Account Managers and Assistant Account Managers that hosted the athletes, arranged for transportation, set-up the training facilities and provided by far the largest component of the audience to cheer on the athletes and ensured that all went smoothly. Gabe Pasztor, Juan Zuniga, Sandra Mejia, Alain Castineira, Adam Martinez, Mitul Ghandi, David Cardenas, Daniel Cardenas, Raoul Hernandez and many more.

Visit Towne Park’s Facebook for photos from the event, and keep an eye out for a video soon!
