22 Sep Towne Park Volunteers at the Maryland Food Bank
On September 14th, three departments from our corporate office in Annapolis, volunteered at the Maryland Food Bank in Baltimore. Eighteen volunteers from the IT, Accounting, and Finance Departments participated in the team-building event, including, Chief Financial Officer, Mark Norwicz.
Our volunteers helped prepare nutritious meals, box meal packages, and sort donated goods. One food bank organizer said, “Towne Park is one of the largest volunteer groups they’ve had all year.” During this fun team building experience, our volunteers learned about proper food handling and how donated goods get distributed to those in need.
The Maryland Food Bank is a nonprofit hunger-relief organization, leading the movement to end hunger throughout Maryland. Currently distributing more than 120,000 meals per day, nearly 44 million meals annually. The Maryland Food Bank is dedicated to
