Who’s the Best Valet in the Nation? Edgar Islas of Towne Park!
Towne Park was victorious at the 2011 National Valet Olympics hosted by the National Valet Parking Association at The Westin Beach Resort and Spa in Fort Lauderdale this week. With a substantial margin of victory in the final round, Towne Park’s Olympic team of Matt Cardella, Nate Loughran, Jonathan Kissel, and Edgar Islas left no doubt about who’s the best in the valet parking business. With dominating performances in the Luggage Load and Key Jumble, Coach Dashan Sanders excitedly lead his team to the stage at the awards dinner to accept their gold medals and the coveted Herb Citrin Trophy. Towne Park’s Founder and CEO proudly hoisted the trophy as the crowd came to their feet. It was a great night for Towne Park.
Putting a perfect cap on the evening, Towne Park’s Edgar Islas was awarded the top individual prize crowning him the Best Valet in the nation! Edgar’s masterful performance scored him the best overall individual combined time. Edgar received his trophy along with the keys to his new Volkswagen Jetta. As part of his prize, he won a two-year lease from Volkswagen. Jerry beamed with pride as Edgar received a standing ovation from all in attendance at the dinner.
