Women in Towne Spotlight-Ana De La Torre

In celebration of National Women’s History Month, and in the spirit of honoring the achievements of accomplished women in our communities, in March we will spotlight Women in Towne.

Today we introduce you to Ana De La Torre, Account Manager, Denver.

Ana joined Towne Park in Denver as an Assistant Account Manager in June 2014 after a successful career with Ana Del La TorrePyramid Hotel Group as Director of Rooms. She quickly proved her effectiveness and was promoted to Account Manager in May 2015. As you’re reading this, she is on a task force in South Florida, proving that she has an ability to think enterprise-wide and show her value beyond her home district.

Ana is Rocky Mountain born and raised, spending all her years in either Denver or Vail. She grew up in a family of six siblings and every Sunday is spent at “Mom’s place” enjoying dinner and spending time with her five nieces and nephews. She also loves watching and attending basketball games and makes it to at least 10 every year. From an early age, Ana exhibited an appreciation of work – she started working at Macy’s when she was 16 years old. It was there that she developed a love for shopping, specifically makeup and lipstick. Just a year later, she was working in hospitality as a front desk agent. As Ana describes it, “I fell in love with working with people, hospitality, and being a leader.”

“I’ve had the pleasure to get to know Ana during my time overseeing the Denver market and truly appreciate her positive attitude, exceptional skills with our guests, client, and associates, and her drive to succeed. She’s had a huge impact in a short amount of time and we’re a better company for having her in Towne Park,” commented Jeff Johnson, Senior Vice President – Western Group.
