Women In Towne Spotlight-Audreen Williams

In celebration of National Women’s History Month, and in the spirit of honoring the achievements of accomplished women in our communities, in March we will spotlight Women in Towne.

Today we introduce you to Audreen Williams, Director of Compensation.

Audreen has worked for a variety of for-profit and not-for-profit organizations during her 13 years as a Human Resources professional. She began her career as a Human Resources Intern with Fairfield Resorts in Wyndham Worldwide’s Human Resources Rotation Program. Prior to joining Towne Park, Audreen worked in the compensation department of the Johns Hopkins Health System Corporation and in the HRIS/compensation department of the University of Maryland Medical Center Midtown Campus.

To realize her goal of becoming a compensation and organizational development expert, over the years Audreen has continued to focus on her education and attained a master’s degree in human resources management from Nova Southeastern University in 2005. She is now working on Audreen Williamscompleting her last educational goal: a doctorate in organizational leadership from her alma mater. Driven and curious, Audreen is always focused on personal development and building a legacy in the world that goes beyond her work.

Brought up in both the Cayman Islands and the United States, Audreen is a true Americanized Jamaican who was raised by two eclectic clinical pharmacists with serious wanderlust and a strong belief in life experience and fearlessness. Although she loves the sand, sea and laid-back lifestyle of home, she gets bored too easily to live the island life permanently. She spends most of her free time traveling, brunching with her girlfriends, dragging her husband Kam to museums and laughing with him way too much.

“Audreen is creative and detail-oriented, diligent about collecting information, and brings deep analytical expertise and methodology to her approach to compensation. Audreen also has strong communication skills, which are very useful in consulting with managers and associates on her methodology and approach to her analyses and recommendations,” commented Towne Park’s Li Na Goins, Vice President, Human Resources.

We are proud to have this Woman in Towne LeadingServing and Growing at Towne Park.
