Women In Towne Spotlight-Karina Morales

In celebration of National Women’s History Month, and in the spirit of honoring the achievements of accomplished women in our communities, in March we will spotlight Women in Towne.

Today we introduce you to Karina Morales, Assistant Human Resources Manager – South Region.

Karina began her Towne Park journey in 2007. Over the years, she has fallen in love with the people of Towne Park, our culture, and the opportunities for growth. Karina started as an administrative assistant and soon moved into Talent Acquisition. As a result of her outstanding performance, Karina Karina Moraleshas been promoted multiple times and in 2011 earned the Leadership Summit Culture Award. In 2016, Karina was promoted to the Assistant Human Resources Manager position for the Atlanta and Central Florida markets where her focus has been to further build our culture and give employees and managers the tools they need to grow and succeed.

Throughout the course of her career, Karina has continued to pursue studies to strengthen her skills. She has completed a Professional in Human Resources certification course as well as other Human Resources courses, and just recently completed and passed her SHRM-CP certification exam, which is a highly regarded certification for Human Resources professionals.

Karina was born and raised in Santa Ana, El Salvador. She came to the United States with her family when she was 15 years old. Although she faced a language barrier and other enormous challenges, Ana was excited for the opportunities life in the United States would provide for her future, which says a lot about her positivity and her strength.

Karina is a beach lover and lives a half a mile away from the beach in Satellite Beach, FL with her husband Cal and her 5-year-old son Quinto.
