10 Mar WOMEN IN TOWNE SPOTLIGHT-Kelly Sighel

In celebration of National Women’s History Month, and in the spirit of honoring the achievements of accomplished women in our communities, in March we will spotlight Women in Towne.

Today we introduce you to Kelly Sighel, Director, New Site Openings.

Kelly joined Towne Park in 2009 by way of our acquisition of Avascend and was promoted from New Sites Project Manager to her current role in 2011. Originally from a small town in Kansas, Kelly grew up playing volleyball, basketball and softball. In addition to being a diehard Kansas City Royals and Chiefs fan, she loves the outdoors and is a real aficionado of spicy foods. Kelly earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Pittsburg State University in Kansas.

“Opening new sites for Towne Park is full of challenges. It requires a deep understanding of the hospitality and healthcare industries as well as the ability to manage surprises. With over 10 years of experience in the industry, unshakeable enthusiasm, and nerves of steel, Kelly shines in her role,” commented Senior Vice President Steffan Sonneveldt.
