In celebration of National Women’s History Month, and in the spirit of honoring the achievements of accomplished women in our communities, in March we will spotlight Women in Towne.

Venishia has spent a significant amount of her career tackling the unique challenges that employers face in California. Venishia is currently a resident of California, however she was born in Michigan where growing up she was known as a great dancer. Venishia used her dance skills to earn a place and compete on cheerleading squads in high school and college. Today, Venishia keeps her dance skills sharp by attending Zumba classes and trying her best to keep up with her two sons’ dance moves. Venishia earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University and has a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.

“Venishia is an extraordinarily hard-working, dedicated, and expert HR leader that has leadership skills that go beyond just her primary discipline. In a short amount of time, she has established herself as a thought leader and invaluable partner to all of our leaders in the western US,” commented Towne Park’s Jeff Johnson, Senior Vice President – Western Group.

We are proud to have this Woman in Towne LeadingServing and Growing at Towne Park.
